EYE COLOR Pale green. SPECIAL PATTERNS Three very distinctive black spots beneath her left eye. FUR COLORS Light gray with a hint of brown; smoky gray and black markings. SIZE Average for a female. PICTURE Sachi.
PERSONALITY Independent, energetic, and inexperienced. She has only been separated from her mother and her brother for a little while, which leaves her to be an in experienced snow leopard. She is a fair hunter and has done well to keep herself fed so far, but her inexperience shows in every step and every pounce. She tries to tackle game that may be two, three times her weight, and attacks what could be potentially dangerous for her health. Sachi is very energetic, another sign of her being a young, newly independent snow leopard. She sometimes resorts to scavenging prey from other leopards whom have left it behind, but she usually tries to stay well out of their way. She prefers not to get in trouble or fight with other leopards. Perhaps it is just because she is still getting used to this new life, and wants to prove to everyone around her that she is capable of living in this unforgiving environment. She tends to stay near the valleys and territory that her mother claimed, but she moves her den every two or three days.
MOTHER Likra- Not played. SIBLINGS Brother- Tajin; Played by me. HISTORY Sachi was born to the average life of a young snow leopard. With a very loving, affectionate, and sometimes playful mother, she was cared for and protected in a nurturing environment. She and her brother were always playing around and causing their mother a lot of trouble. It wasn't until she was about two months old than she began to be 'naughty, not coming to her mother when she called. She loved playing around, and thought it was just a fun game. Her mother punished her by not answering when Sachi decided to go and look for her. She soon learned to obey her mother and come when she was called. She tried her first meat, wild goat, and although she was now able to eat meat, she still suckled from her mother off and on. Naturally she learned from her mother that they moved the den every few days, in order to find new prey and stay well fed.
She began to learn hunting skills and how to stalk at about 12 months, and she proved to be a decent hunter. Everything she did to play with her brother, improved her skills. At 19 months, she separated from her mother and went off to find her own den. Since then she has lived alone, seldom running into another leopard. She has not yet had a litter of her own yet, but she has reached the age of female maturity.
ROLE-PLAY SAMPLE Dawn. One of the best times to go out and try to catch some prey. Her smoky fur blended in with her surroundings as she padded out of her cave, breathing in the fresh, morning frost. Because it had snowed during the night, there was a fresh layer of ice beneath her paws as she made her rounds down from her cave, soaring across the small gorge with a graceful bound. Sachi, who thought herself as the queen of stealth, knew she could easily catch prey in this dim light. The clouds were blocking out the sun which would cast down and cause some snow melt. The light was dim, though, which worked to her favor. She did not need to travel far to reach her destination; in her head she had a mental map of the area. Where the best prey was, where the cover was, and the best place to stalk her prey from behind.
There they were; the herd of wild goat. They seemed unaware of the danger, and she watched as one inexperienced wild goat kid trotted away from it's mother, nibbling at a few stalks of grass that poked around the snow. This was her chance. She raised her tail just enough so that it wouldn't brush the ground, dropped low into a hunter's crouch, and sidled forward, smooth as a snake. If all worked well, the goat kid would not notice her; why would it? Her paws hardly made a sound on the frosty mountain ground, and within minutes, she was crouched just meters away from the kid. Enough to make her strike. Coiled like a snake about to spring, she kicked off the ground and sprang for the kid. It spotted her and turned to flee, but one large paw brought it crashing down.
